How often does my refrigerated air conditioning need to be Regassed?

The short answer is Never. Your new refrigerated air conditioning system is a closed loop sealed system designed by the manufacturers engineers to withstand the harshest of Australian conditions and built in a factory where it is tested for leaks before landing safely at your door.

The most common cause of a refrigerant leak is due to insulation fault. Ask to see the installers ARC licence when having your new system installed and check to make sure the licence is a current RAC01-FULL refrigeration and airconditioning licence with no restrictions, these are the best and most experienced people to install your system and have the capabilitys to warrant there work properly, also ask to see there associated electrical licence to make sure they are licensed to conduct the proper system tests if necessary.

How often should my systems be serviced?

You should have your systems serviced right before each cooling and heating season starts.

How do I reduce my cooling costs?

Run your split system on a higher temperature. For example instead of selecting 22 degrees on cooling select 24 degrees this will lower your cooling costs.
